This battery is no longer available at most popular home improvement/hardware stores. It is great that thie battery is still available on line as I was told that I'd need to purchase a new cordless drill. I tried the new batteries (2) and am very satisfied.

bosch makes outstanding products and this one is no different.it has performed very well,they truly do make the best corded and battery powered jig-saw on the market.the battery lasts appr. 8 to 10 cuts of full length sheets of 1/2 " or less material.would recommend this battery to anyone since the jig only comes with one.i also want to give a 5 star rating to amazon themselves,never had a problem with any transaction so far.

I compare this to my makita batteries same voltage this battery out performs the makita by far. Believe me, I have been using makita for ten years now and believe that they make the toughest tool in the world but thier nickle metal batteries are a dissapointment they just don't go the distance. especially if you charge them too many times in a day.

I ordered this battery as a replacement for my Bosch cordless drill. It was shipped very fast and in a very secure package. I was so pleased with it that I ordered a second one a week later. I will use amazon again when the price is right on an item.

Good value compared to some other 18v batteries. Not sure about performance over a long period, but does better than my porter cable batteries when both are relatively new.
