I am very happy with this jointer. It initially needed some adjustment to the tables and fence. There was a lack of intructions for fine tuning the table. I e-mailed Grizzly and they quickly responded with intructions. Now it is set up perfectly. I wanted a jointer for years and really needed one on my coming project. This is a powerful no frills basic jointer at a very reasonable price. With shippng it came to $230. The best price for a comparable one was $280 at a store I'd have to drive to or about the same with added shipping. Plus the Grizzly has twice the power as the competitor(2HP v. 1HP) It fits my style- no frills, basic but sturdy.
