Great mobile base
Delta by far makes the best mobile bases for wood working equip. Bought this one for my Bridgewood 8" jointer. With Delta's foot pedal system you don't need to bend over and unscrew any wheel locks like the other major brand that I also have. (which are inadequate in my opinion) Very well built. Spend a couple extra bucks and get a good one. My only complaint is searching the web trying to find the correct size from Delta. I wish someone at Amazon would put out the complete Delta mobile base list with dimensions. It would be to there benefit.

Not used for the jointer it is made for
I have an Minmax 16 bandsaw, it was suggested to use this base.
If you have an MM16 this is the was to go you can turn on a dime in less space then the mobility kit you can buy. and you don't have to find a place for the handle.

A Much Needed Accesory
Unless you have a large shop where you will never need to move your jointer, you need this item, the rack and pinion on the fence takes a bit of room. I was a bit hesatant due to the price but I am glad I purchased it. The Jointer is now easy to relocate, a single step on the pedal and one hand is all that is needed. With the pedal up it is as solid as if it were on the floor.
