WONDERFUL!!!
This is just a GREAT Gadget! Cuts up the wood for the fireplace quicly and safely! SO, I'm a 68 year old woman, and I really do not have any experience with chain saws, and I was a bit afraid when I started out. This thing is great! I can cut up wood as fast as anyone, and it does not move around when cutting thanks to the design. Just grab and cut! Thanks, Black and Decker!

Replacement Chains are Expen$ive & Hard to Locate
I have had to replace my chain once so far and found it impossible to find them locally. Some online prices and availability are OK but the shipping really dings you. I found one online hardware site that had reasonable shipping plus a decent discount so I bought two replacements there. My original chain's life was shortened somewhat by letting someone else borrow the Alligator (they got some dirt in the chain by cutting too close to the ground) as well as my cutting of some trees that were in excess of 6" in diameter. I have no real complaints about the quality just the price and availability. I still think the Alligator is a fantastic tool.

Great Little Invention
The Alligator Lopper is a great little invention for cutting up those sticks that fall out of your trees after a wind storm that are too big to break up but too small for a regular power saw. My husband was delighted when he received it as a gift since he has a big pile of limbs in the back yard to cut up.
