Used this on my Dewalt impact driver that accepts 1/4" bits/shafts. Now I'm able to use it as a drill.

New equipment
I recently bought this with a Bosch PS40. I haven't got the chance to use this yet (that is why I have it only 4 stars), but the first impresion is that it is a good piece of hardware.

Excellent, no need to buy a separate drill now
I bought this for use with my Bosch PS40-2. I couldn't justify spending more money on another drill since I rarely need to use a drill attachment, but this Dewalt conversion chuck has been extremely useful. Like another reviewer said, its got a surprising amount of heft to it, but not enough to make my driver feel imbalanced, and the chuck itself feels very well constructed. Pop the attachment in, hold the collar and pull the trigger, and vice versa for taking it out.

A high quality, must have accessory for impact drivers
I was surprised by the heft of this chuck upon opening the package, and it was immediately obvious that this was not some Chinese made piece of junk that is so often what you get these days (It's made in Japan). Frankly, this is the best keyless chuck I've used on a drill. It uses the impact driver itself the tighten or loosen the chuck while you hold the it with one hand. It really makes it effortless. I'll now be using my impact driver for most of my drilling tasks.
