makita lxt light
the light is good but the item it self is not so strong, after all im realy happy with my purchase

Another good Makita product!
Since I own other Makita 18volt tools,the purchase of this flashlight was a nobrainer at the price being asked by Amazon.I can find no faults with this product.

good light,, but not quite
this light is good with the different positions you need in getting a job done,, I just think It was just too light, and not heavy duty enough (It feels like if I were to drop it, it would break easily,) and the light is not as powerful as I thought it should be,,. But it gets the job done,, as long as your careful with it,,. If you have more heavy duty jobs, than you might want a more heavy duty light than this one,,.. but it completes my makita drill and compact drill set,, so I'm happy!

Good Product
This is a good light, but I'm a little disappointed in its light output. I was hoping for a little more brightness. On the "bright" side, the battery life is incredible.

Great light for LXT owners
The BML185W is a newer version of the blue BML185 and takes both 1.5Ah and 3.0Ah batteries. When used with the 1.5Ah batteries, this is very light and powerful flashlight. The on/off switch also works well. If you are looking for an 18V LXT flashlight, get this one if you want to use 1.5Ah batteries.
