excellent kit
with plenty of uses due to the variety of sizes available. i have found that some of the guides are very long so they need to be cut down to a more suitable length.

Adequate but there are better for less money
I've used these before and they're OK, but as others have said they're NOT stainless steel. Brass runs along templates more smoothly and won't chew up your expensive bits so much if something should happen to come loose during operation. A nice brass set from Woodline ( Woodline USA WL-WTS 10-Piece Brass Router Template Guide Kit ) costs less and includes an adapter plate too, for using PC-sized guides in a large-based router such as the Makita 3612.

Very usefull
I have used the Template guides twice now and they worked very well with the templates I have fabricated. If I were redesigning the product I would include 2 flat sides for a wrench to tighten the nut. It is a bit difficult to hand tighten.

Great guides
Seems that Porter Cable puts more emphasis on "Exact" when producing tools and equipment. I find that the Porter Cable Guides work better on "Other brands" of Templates also. For the non industrial tools, Porter Cable seems to have great quality.
