Product Description: Porter-Cable never disappoints, especially with their air tools. Here's a great nailer for the contractor or do-it-yourselfer in the Southeast, Gulf Coast and Western regions with its 22-degree plastic collated round head framing nails from 2 to 3-1/2 inches long. We like the new rounded body style on the nailer, which Porter-Cable says has doubled the tool's life, and we can tell you it feels right in the hand. It's still packing plenty of power, even though it's more compact. As always, we're fond of its tool-free adjustable exhaust, tool-free adjustable depth of drive with detents, and an internal piston catch for consistent power. The triggers can be set to restrictive or contact mode, so you've got complete control over nail release. -- Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Customer Reviews

5 stars Great gun, great price!
This nailer works great. It is a bit slower at the trigger that I'm used to but overall, great gun. I just used it to frame a new home for a client.

5 stars FR350a Review
Fantastic tool, saves a ton of time and labor. Easy to use, works perfectly on a 150max psi pancake compressor (gauged to 115psi). Easily drives 3" nails into wood for framing and general construction work. Be sure to use oil at each use (just a couple of drops). Drove hundreds of nails in a few hours...try doing that with a hammer! Great product, solidly built, easy to load and clear.

4 stars Great Gun!
My only complaint so far is the rubber tip, which does not stay in place very well. This gun has no problem driving 3.5" nails. Don't believe the previous reviewer who had problems with 3" nails. His compressor says Fisher-Price.

5 stars Great Tool
This is an excellent tool with good weight proportion. It handles many size nails and has a easy trigger. I am an acupuncturist in Broomfield Colorado who formally built furniture and Homes in Colorado. [...]

1 stars Porter Cable?
Surely Porter Cable did NOT make this! Brand NEW out of the box and it would not drive 3" nails? Bought mine on sale at Home Depot and fortunately they allowed me to return it. I have used nailers over 15 years and could not believe this. Shame on you Porter Cable for advertising this gun will shoot 3 1/2" nails and it would NOT drive 3" nails. This is not the Porter Cable I used to know. Buyer beware, this gun is not as advertised. The telling end was my offer to the store manager was that I would buy 2 if he could get it or another new one out of the box to drive 3" nails. He would not accept the offer, stating some things may be over stated on their (Porter Cable)labels. My prayer is that potential buyers read this BEFORE purchase and someone, anyone from PC also read this...shame on you PC
