Works but difficult to install.
I have several of these pin door closers in my house. They work well but are difficult to install. Also, one broke within 2 years of installation.

Save directions
The door to our basement opens in the middle of a long hallway. With 2 teenage boys and a TV/gameroom in the basement, you can imagine how much of the time the door spent blocking the hallway. When we put the door back up, we spent hours trying to put it back on so the door would close correctly. I searched the web for others. There is not one single product out there even remotely like this one. It does last forever but saving your directions may save you lots of time and frustration in the future. If this one broke, I would pay 10 times the price if necessary for another. It is worth every single penny.

Enhanced privacy
Item works well. Instruction said to use brass sheath before you put the rod, but not fit in my hinge. i just put rod inside hinge without sheath. No noise. you can adjust closing force by turing from top. Recommended.

Simply awsome! Eat that, furball! My door is not opened every 5-10 min anymore! Yeah, my cat is one of those that likes doors open so he can see and hear. Paranoid pest.
Easy enough to install (of course, I have a mechanical inclination, so take it as you will).

Works too good :)
My husband got tired of the laundry room door being left open so ordered it. It closes the door even when you want it to stay open. It really does the job well.
