Amazing value
I was expecting a piece of junk... but this unit actually works, and works very well. As a general multimeter to keep around the house, don't know how one could do better. The extra's (like thermal couple) make a nice produce great.

You cannot get a better deal for this price
This product is the swiss army knife of multimeters. You would definetely get better performance/precision from other specialized instruments, but at a cost of hundreds of dollars. If your intention is to precisely measure the sound, light, relative humidity, temperature, or all kinds of electrical parameters, this is not the one to get it. However, if you can get by with some reduced accuracy for all the extra bells and whistles, there is no better deal out there.

Good: Build quality, unusually rich feature set.

Not so good: Chinese English operating manual, lack of some desirable options (example: no slow response time selection for sound measurements, which would make acoustical measurements easier).

Good buy with pluses
I was shopping for an acoustic sound meter and I needed a new digital multimeter. I could not have asked for more, but wait! It slices, it dices too! Well, not quite a Ginzu knife, it has some cool features I never knew I needed - like the light intensity meter and the thermocouple probe - very cool.

Amazing 5-in-1 Digital Multimeter
Since the product description is a bit lacking, first let me list what's included:

This is an amazing device. It can measure just about anything. The light, humidity, and sound intensity sensors are built-in to the top, and the temperature probe connects to the COM and "°C" ports. It even has a backlight! And for (significantly) under $100, the price cannot be beat.

With all of these functions, it's still remarkably simple to use. The center dial selects what to measure, and it can auto-sense the appropriate range. For example, to measure voltage, switch it to "V" and press "FUNC." to toggle AC/DC. Hold "RANGE" for a second to switch it to "AUTO", or press it to manually set it.

Unbelievable Deal
For the price, not only is this meter very high quality, but it has numerous useful features that would usually require seperate tools, such as audio (DB) and light (lux) meters. The overall quality and attention to detail on this meter is phenomenal, and holds its own against meters in a much higher price bracket. I would guess that it's perhaps less accurate than a more expensive meter, but for my purposes it's more the precise enough. The only change I would make, for my use, would be to up the capabilities of the audio meter to get accurate readings in the 100-125 db range, as this meter is only supposed to be accurate to 100db. Great deal!
