Only the correct jacks are exposed to accept banana plugs as function switch is turned. Examples: When voltage, ohms or capacitance selected, the current jacks are closed/covered. When current is selected, voltage is closed/covered. This way, you will never have to worry about plugging into the wrong socket and burn the fuse.
