Problem solved
Nestled in a heavily wooded area, our garage seems to collect every leaf and debris that could possible enter. After years of failing to find something that could manage this and keep it clean, my husband is over-joyed with this product. No only it is quiet and powerful, it is easy to use and this makes it ideal. We would highly reccommend it. A quality product for dealing with all types of cleaning - garage floors- car interiors and anything else you might need. He actually looks forward to using it. That is a great product.

Great tool for garage or shop
I have this thing hooked up to my mitre saw and it does a great job. Would be great in a garage for the car, etc.

Hoover L2310 GUV 10 Amp 5 Gallon Garage Utility Vacuum

I bought this for my workshop. Now the sawdust, etc. is gone. It is easy to install and easier to use. The hose is long enough to reach to the edges of the large space, but the vacuum has the suction power to match the length fully extended. I would recommend this product to anyone who is tired of hauling out and dragging around a shop vac. It is always right there and ready to use.

Hoover GUV - Great Garage Utility Vac
I purchased this GUV from Amazon...shipped quickly and opened it up to begin the cleaning of cobwebs in my garage. WOW.......the 30' hose pulled the cobwebs from the walls and reached all around the garage.
Then I took it to my car . . . it worked great there too. The only drawback that I see is that compared to my Hoover indoor vac, the hose is not as good...a little stiff. I would be willing to pay more for the very soft hose found on the indoor Hoover. By the way- my garage has 10' ceilings - with the tools, I could reach everywhere. It is great for the designated garage area in that one is not trying to drag around the indoor vac and struggle to accomplish the same results.

No time to run
I can't say how well this unit works because I never ran it. When the unit arrived I noticed a little rattling going on, so because I'm curious I had to know what in the h-ll is wrong with this thing,low and behold upon removing the top of the unit (suffering a laceration on the old fergini)I discovered not to much to my suprise that the plastic motor housing was broken and the bolt to plastic standoff was stripped. I put the unit back together (taking care so as not to recieve another laceration) called Amazon got a return authorization and set her back to wence it came. I got my refund in a timley fashion and all is good. (except I'm running out of band-aids)
