Customer Reviews
Connector not compatible
Ordered the gauge and the Porter Cable Pancake Compressor as a combination as suggested by Amazon. The compressor arrived last week and I received the CH gauge today. The gauge connection is not compatible with the compressor quick connect coupler. Now I have to hunt for a way to connect to the hose quick connector on the compressor. You would think if hey say order as a combination, there should be no problem connecting. Did read a previous review [to late] mentioning the problem with connecting. Will take a look in Advance Auto and see if I can find the connector there.

disappointed
didn't read all the reviews before bought it. I thought 4 stars were good enough. now I read the reviews and can understand why users weren't too happy with it. this thing should not get more than 2 stars. the chuck design has a major flaw as others already pointed out and the gauge reading was inaccurate.

Easy tire filling
This is a nice home unit , the tip fits on locks well . Then you comfortably add air.
The manufacturing of the unit is good for the price. its not junk and not too expensive - the only knock is the gauge seems to be off , more than a couples pound too. I was afraid of that but it gives you a good general idea then you can fine tun it with a air gauge ( BTW the accu-gauge tire gauge is very good , accurate - with in a pound and holds the reading until you release it ).
would buy this again , should be a couple buck cheaper but i am finding CH products to be very adequate for home use

Works pretty well
Tire inflator works pretty well. I noticed that my unit was not like the one in the picture; it was the MP6000, not the MP6000AV -- the gauge only goes to 100psi and so it formatted differently than displayed. Not a problem for me as I'm only doing car tires but if you have a semi or RV tire this could be some concern. The gauge is a little hard to interpret since the graduations aren't very instinctive to just glance at. I didn't have any problem whatsoever with the tire clip that some have expressed concern wouldn't fit on smaller car tires; it fit fine on an 06 Chevy Aveo and an older 90s Nissan sentra and I can't see how it would cause problems for any other car as it's very slender. Perhaps I got the improved design? who knows. In any rate, the unit is of high quality, no leaks of any kind. I used to use a 12V cigarette plug inflator but that thing is crazy loud and takes forever just to fill up a few psi so I've happily retired it to just emergency use. Well worth the money to get a good inflator so you can check you tires frequently enough. With the rising cost of gas, even a few psi can make you lose mileage quickly. This unit basically pays for itself.

Tire Inflator
Inflator works great. The dial is a little hard to read at first, but once I got used to it I've had no problems
