Product Description: The DeWalt DC988GA is a Factory Reconditioned Heavy-Duty XRP 18V Cordless Hammer drill/Cutoff Tool Combo Kit. The DC988GA 18V XRP 1/2 drill/driver/hammer drill uses a DeWalt built high-torque, high efficiency motor to deliver 500 in-lbs of torque for drilling large diameter holes and driving large screws. The XRP drill comes equipped with a patented 3-speed transmission. The 3-speed option allows the drill to be set at the optimum speed range for the application being performed to maximize performance. The DC988GA has a max speed of 2000 RPM which is 38% faster than high speed. The unit has a maximum BPM speed of 34000 BPM which allows for high performance drilling in masonry applications. All XRP drills feature a 1/2 all metal, ratcheting chuck with carbide jaws to prevent bit slipping and bit fall out.
