Amazing table saw for the $$$
The only people with legitimate complaints about this table saw seem to have been looking for $1000 results in a $200 saw. Instead you'll get $400 results with this $200 saw. Don't even hesitate, buy this saw. It cuts like a dream, incredibly smooth, very accurate, yet quiet. Very easy to set up and get the blade properly aligned. I've never owned a table saw before and I had it put together and everything calibrated properly in under an hour.

sweet deal for a very good saw
I decided to try this saw in my shop. I have a small wood craft buisness and a quite well equipt shop with several other JET products I cut mostly exotic wood so I needed a good saw but had a limited budget. I found this saw fits my needs perfectly the speed is very nice and can produce a nice clean cut with a good blade I opted to replace the factory blade with a top end FORREST blade.
Overall it is a great saw for any "home shop" or small buisness
The frame is quite sturdy, it was very easy to put together took me 15min.
The table is very solid but still light enough to move the saw as needed.
I found the extensions to be level on my saw but you can easily adjust them if needed.
It was also quite easy to fine tune the saw.
The fence & miter-- the fence is actualy quite good for a inexpensive saw ( dont expect it to be like a XACTA fence) but it works and you can fine tune it easily.
the miter is not as tight as the high end saws but again it can be adjusted or you can use a small strip of slick tape to tighten the slot. You can also upgrade the miter if needed there are some that fit.
One nice thing I found is you can easily make your own outfeed extension from 3/4 plywood with UHMW plastic bonded to the top and 2 steel rods to go in the guides on the saw.
Many people reviewed this saw and complained about things that are common on saws under 800.00 I guess the idea is if you want a powermatic type saw (you know perfect cuts perfect accessories etc. ) this is not it but then again its not that price either !
If you need a nice saw (better than the others in the price range) that can do the job and you have under 600.00 to spend then buy this saw and a good blade hope it helps

Some solid parts, but lots of problems
Adjusting the blade into parallel was nearly impossible. The blade is currently stuck on the arbor. I tried beating on it pretty hard to get it off. I know most people are probably saying "what an idiot" right now, and I agree, but when you are pressed for time and getting really annoyed, it is easy to get violent. I should have called Jet, but I never got around to it. This happened almost 6 months ago, so I am a little out of touch with exactly what is wrong.(I have been at college so I haven't been able to get to it)
Some one mentioned putting a cement blow on the bottom for weight, I did that and when the saw was working it worked very well in keep the saw from shaking.
If you are some on that doesn't mind screwing around with stuff, this saw might not be bad for you, as the actually construction seems to be pretty solid. Personally if I were to start over I would but a table saw from a local store and probably get a Bosch.

Seriously, are you kidding me?
A little forward:
I'm a wood worker. I'm not professional, but I do some real nice work as a serious hobby. When I moved cities, I sold my bigger saw and needed a quick replacement temporarily. I bought this saw with my fingers crossed.
If you want a review from an experienced woodworker who makes some nice furniture as a hobby........then here we go.
This machine is really pretty poor in regard to precision and accuracy. The runout on the blade is literally over 1/16". That's really pretty bad. When I rip boards, I get burning and a frantic edge throughout the cut. I went to a TK Freud blade and got no improvement. The fence is weak and flimsy. The tabletop is small.
So, you are asking..........."You paid $210 for this, what did you expect?" Good call. I expected very little. But this thing is essentially unusable for what I need it for.
If you're cutting some Ply for weekend makeshift projects, it's fine. For anything else, but something else!!!!!!
