casting broke,versa feed did not even turn on
bought both these,mount broke&the feed wouldn't even power up.have called&called but no one will return my call.WHY?

Great base for autofeeder
Got this product it was easy to set up and held fast. This will allow me to switch between shaper and saw without putting holes in either.

BUY AN EXTRA POWER FEEDER BASE INSTEAD
I bought this base and never installed it. The idea of clamping a power feeder to a machine table never seemed safe to me and also you are limited to a corner mount. Instead get an extra base from Delta, part number 1347994 will get another base for $34.47. Then you just unscrew the power feeder from one base and screw it to down on another base.
