Skill 3800-01-RT 10 inch Miter Saw - Great saw
This is a quality saw as Skill always is. I shopped around for a couple of days and compared reviews of several brands with about the same specs. I settled on this one due to the high reviews. I was not disappointed. Has most of the features of much more expensive ones,and can do almost everything you would expect of a commercial grade saw. I love this one and would recommend it to anyone. Skill at its best again.

I have bought from Amazon "Factory-Reconditioned Skil 3800-01-RT 120V 10-inch 120V Miter Saw", Condition: new. Today I have received this saw and I am disappointed. You deceived me. In your order was written that this item is new (I printed your order and I can send you this copy where is written that the item is new). The saw I have received is very old and is in very bad condition. I think somebody used it at least during one year. There are many scratches and kerf insert is broken. The saw is working but I don't like as it working. Therefore you must whether return me at least 50% of my payment or you must send me the new miter saw.

Good value
I am a remodeler. I was looking for a compact, light weight saw to supplement my larger much more expensive slide compound saw. Over 90 % of all work you need a miter saw for can be done with this 10" skill miter saw. It is the miter saw I will use for most work.

This saw looked to be a good value of quality and features. Out of the box adjustment were all close. Laser required a washer to shim under left mounting screw to allow proper alignment. Laser line a little fussy on the right side of cut, but I consider the laser a gimmick ad on anyway. The same washers as under the laser, under the 4 screws that hold the kerf insert in place brought it up flush to the main table level. 40 tooth blade that came on the saw not up to my standards for smooth cuts on a miter saw, but I expected that. Blade will work great for most work on my table saw. Bonus!

I would recommend this saw for quality and value. Flaws were minor and easily tweaked.
