4 stars If you like having the proper tool on hand, you need this
I hated having to run to the hardware store whenever I needed to tap a hole I didn't have the right tool for. This set has just about any size you could imagine needing, in metric and standard, in starting taps and bottom taps, and small pipe threads too. The quality of the taps and dies are high, although one of my tap holders was kind of cheesy. The case is also nice - the pieces are encased in a hard-rubber form that is well-marked and protects them well. I think it's worth the money, especially if it prevents a few time-consuming trips to the hardware store!
