Wonderful Sharpening Tool
This tool works well. It is very thin but a nice size ... otherwise. Great to keep in the kitchen.

For light/ occassional work
I bought this item to speed up the initial clean-up on some antique chisels. At this price I wasn't expecting the best and got about what I expected. The plastic liner the two plates are glued to has a little too much flex and the glue gave way about a week into use. This proved to be a blessing in disguise as I made a handled backer for each and continue to use them. Diamond stones cut very fast and, although they leave a more significant scratch pattern, reduce the amount of time needed for removing pitting, burrs and the like. If you're planning on a diamond stone for final clean-up I'd spend a little more and get a finer grade, but given the above I'd say these have been worth it.
