Good tool, great value
This tool was easy to use, fits well into the pulley holes and is very sturdy. I was able to remove and tighten the pulley nut with no problems. It has paid for itself several times over with just one use.

a true life saver for the Honda mechanic
If you are a home mechanic working on your older Honda and you don't have 1000 ft-lb air tools, this is the tool you need in order to remove and install the crankshaft pulley. I used this tool to replace my timing belt of my 91 Civic. It is a sturdy tool that will last a lifetime. It makes the removal of the pulley quite easy.
Before you buy this tool, make sure you have the matching crankshaft pulley - the one with the holes around the bolt. If you have a newer Honda, you probably need the similar tool with the hex socket in the middle.

There are better tools out there for this but this is the best Pulley Holding Tool for the money. $ for $ = the best

Make sure this is the right tool you need
The tool itself is actually pretty good quality. The problem is the item description doesn't make it very clear this tool is for old Hondas. It will not work on modern Hondas or Acuras with the hexagonal opening in the crank pulley. There is a different tool for that crank pulley and it can be bought here at A[...] at a very good price. I ended up keeping this in case I need it in the future or for any other pulleys with holes in its face. I purchased and also bought the other tool.
