Web Description is Wrong
The web description of this product has the following bullet under Technical Information:
Includes M300(sic)handmasker, FB12 film blade, and tack-down tape dispenser attachment
The product description section says "This kit includes one M300 hand masker, one FB12 film blade, and one tack down tape dispenser attachment."
When my purchase arrived it only contained the M3000 Hand Masker. Amazon told me to send it back and they would replace it via free overnight shipping. Second one arrived, and again no blade, just the M3000. Sent both back for refund, which I got with no problem.

Helps speed masking!
I needed a product that could help me mask windows and doors faster than by hand. This 3M hand masker M3000 was the ticket. You can use it with paper or the film which both require their own set of cutting blades, sold separately. I recommend the 12" blade for both paper and film.
The product would have received a 5 star, but the one I received had a rotted O-ring which holds the hanger to the handle. I was able to replace the O-ring at our good old ACE Hardware store here in town.
Recommend this item if you want to save time.

rotted maskers
I bought two of these with film when they got here masker kits missing the fb12 cutters and both maskers had rotted like weather rotted parts. must be very old stock also the maskers seem to be put together cheaply with part that would be easy to fall off.I've use many maskers painting homes,shop etc. and these are not worth the money and at the time I got them they were half price

Great time saver
I got tired of masking off areas by hand and was looking for something faster. With this tool you can use 1" tape of any style, either paper or plastic masking and go to town. No longer do I need to hold up the paper and try to get the tape in the right position. I can cut an hour's worth of masking off down to about 10 minutes. It paid for itself in the first job I did.
