Avg Customer Rating:
Product Description: Light and compact, this handy little 3.6-volt screwdriver quickly converts from straight to pistol form for easy drilling in tight, awkward quarters and from a variety of angles. The tool is a great answer to smaller drilling and driving jobs around the house where a full-size drill would be cumbersome overkill. It’s also perfect for assembly work, speeding up production with easy of use and maneuverability. The tool is equipped with a large forward/reverse switch conveniently located within thumb’s reach for switching directions on the fly. Designed for versatility, a two-speed gearbox offers 200 rpm in slow mode and 600 rpm in high mode. An auto shut-off, 22-stage clutch prevents over tightening and stripping. For less downtime and more productivity, the tool is powered by a 3.6-volt battery that fully charges in just 15 minutes (EY0225B charger sold separately). The tool offers 39 inch-pounds of maximum torque, easily taking on a wide array of maintenance projects around the home, apartment, or office. --Brian D. Olson Applications: Rack/cabinet installation, electric work, service engineering, production line/assembly work.

Customer Reviews
Perfect for the purpose
I've been using these drivers for over 20 years! first the 2.4 volt version and now the 3.6 -- I have two. Great range of torque selection, super battery life, light and powerful. I really like the automatic motor cut off when the correct torque is reached. Saves time, wear and battery life.
the charger? full battery in 15 minutes.
but don't get the cheap knock-off batteries, they are bigger, heavier, and do NOT last. get the genuine!

Best light screw gun on the market "HANDS DOWN"
I service many electro-mechanical instruments. I have tried many screw guns of every shape and size in the last 15 years. This one is very light and versatile. It is very powerful and has torque settings. When it reaches whatever torque you set it to, it stops, saving battery power. Rather than running while slipping which will waste battery power. It will go in smaller places than any drill/screw-gun. Your arm NEVER gets tired from holding it. The battery lasts a long time, usually about 2 weeks with light to medium daily use. It charges in 20 minutes! I have had mine for 2yrs and love it. I think I may be needing a new battery now.The last 3 charge cycles lasted less than a week. I was here to buy a battery for it decided to give it a good review. It's not often I find things this good these days, most are cheap, undependable and fragile. I have dropped this screw driver at least 20 times and sometimes on concrete at 6 foot high. It still runs perfect except now it needs a battery. Strange as it may seem, needing a new battery is a good thing as many of the screw guns I used in the past didn't last till the battery went dead!!! Anyway I hope this helps you decide to get this gun.....wow I should get paid for this. I picked up mine with the charger as a package deal for 129.00 here at Amazon 2years ago. It seems they are selling the gun and charger separate..........silly, yes. What good is one without the other. Great tool ....goofy marketing.

Best thing since portable post hole
I have used one these for years as a residential electrican installing hundreds of switches and outlets a year. I would never have lasted 30 years without one, great time saver too.

Electrician
I have used this drill driver for over 2 years and never had a problem. The battery will last all day and then some. I do commercial Electrical work and I am very hard on the drill. I use it constant all day long 6 days a week. I have dropped it from some 6-10 feet and it still keeps on ticking, I don't recommend dropping any tool of course but accidents happen. I have charged the batteries no less than 300 times a piece and they still perform like new. This is without a doubt the best tool I have ever purchased in 25 years. I have always been happy with Panasonic products. I feel so positive about this drill driver this is the first review I have ever taken time to write.

pansonic drill driver
i am a mechanic at a mercedes dealer, i've used and tried many-many drill drivers, & this panasonic is the best. it is the fastest at 600 rpm. very light. easy to use. the electronic clutch is very adjustable and precise for torque settings,i use it everyday with only one battery; the fifteen minute charger is a must. this is a pro tool and well worth the money. the only other driver comparable is the milwakee but slower at 450rpm. the panasonic driver is the tool for interior work. i recomend it highly.
