5 stars Great tool !!!!!
This is a great little screwdriver. I got tired of lugging my 18v B&D for little jobs and replaced it for almost everything with this guy. Iy's lightweight, well balanced, and fits into tight spots that would be awkward for the big monster. Even my non handy spouse can use it...fewer "honey do's" for me ! A small carry case with bit storage would be nice.

5 stars Lightweight, fits your hand, rugged, gets into corners, holds charge
We bought this thinking it would be nice for small jobs such as taking the faceplate off electric receptacles, as a lightweight alternative to lugging out the heavy DeWalt 18V.

Amazingly, it works well for tough jobs. We put together a 8' x 15' vinyl shed with floor and roof in two days using only the Dremel driver. If any of you have ever put together a shed, you are familiar with the hundreds of screws that come with the package. Our arms were much less tired than they would have been if we had used the 18V DeWalt.

We used the Dremel continuously for several hours each day and it held its charge until nightfall, when we quit for the day because we could no longer see what we were doing. The Dremel was useful for driving screws into the roof panels at the wall edge, where the DeWalt would not fit. Due to my klutziness, the tool fell off the top of the step ladder at least a dozen times and smashed on the floor, with no damage.

Since acquiring the tool, we were pleased to discover the Dremel chuck accepts Black and Decker drill bits with a hexagonal shank. Now it's a driver and a drill!

In summary, the Dremel was well worth the money for the shed job alone. Don't make the mistake of thinking this tool is just for wuss jobs.

5 stars best driver I have owned
i was pleasently suprised at how solid and small this driver was. It allows you to get into small places, and at the same time fits in you palm so that you can exert force. I bought this for my wife and her house projects, but find myself stealing it away for my use.

5 stars One of the best tools I have ever owned...
I received this cordless screwdriver as a Christmas gift. Upon opening it I immediately thought "Oh great, another dinky cordless screwdriver.". I can't believe how wrong I was.

This little guy has replaced my 18V cordless drill for most of my day to day tasks. It has a LOT of torque. I do a lot of projects around the house and do all the maintenance on our cars. This unit has no problem driving screws into solid wood or removing all sorts of nuts/bolts/etc. Its small size also makes it easier to use in tight quarters where my 18V drill was difficult or impossible to use.

I'm also very impressed with the battery life. I charged the unit on Christmas day. Since then I have assembled our child's crib, changing table, and dresser, hung new folding doors in our laundry room, put up three shelving units in the garage, and several other small tasks. The Dremel finally ran out of juice last night, almost two months later. Pretty impressive.

I'd recommend the Dremel Cordless Screwdriver to anyone from daily handyman to occasional around-the-house user. You won't be disappointed.

4 stars Dremel cordless screwdriver
Excellent product which does everything as advertised. Howerever, the description said it has a magnetic bit holder, but it does not act as a magnet to help hold screws on the bit. I was expecting the magnet to hold the screws, especically when working with smaller screws.
