Great for Ladies too.....
The design of this unit makes it easy to use and hold, both for men and women.
I can hold this in virtually any position and prune with ease. Easy to manipulate and hold regardless of the application. No lack of power. And, no cord to drag around makes working/pruning anywhere almost a pleasure...
Can't comment on the battery since I haven't used it for any looooong period of time, but it does come with two batteries, a charger and free lifetime battery replacement.
If you want a cordless unit, that's comfortable and easy to handle, this saw is worth consideration.

Good for the price
Given the price for this particular sawzall, it represents a high level of value. The build quality, ergonomic design (you can use it with one hand - which is important when your holding the item being cut with the other) and battery life all seem above average. I feel it ranks just below the DeWalts of the world (for a non-Lithium Ion product).
On the negative side, you need to occationally lubricate the the blade release to prevent bind-up.
